Moon Dungeon

Moon

Level 100 medium soul stone [32;12]

To access this dungeon, you will need the following items:

The shells are quest items, not to be confused with the turtle shells you can obtain as a resource.

Finally, you obviously need access to Moon Island, which means being at least level 40.

You will find the entrance to the Moon forest at [34,5].

Here you meet an NPC, the Kanniboul cook.

He is the one who will take your turtle shells off your hands.

Be careful: if you die in the jungle past this point, you will have to go drop turtle shells again before coming back.

We are now at [30;6] heading south.

We are now in front of an NPC, the Kanniboul masker; it is time to equip our Kanniboul Mask before talking to him.

Infiltration mission accomplished — let's keep going.

From here on, the map-change suns are visible; all you have to do is follow them.

Here you are in the deepest part of the Moon jungle! Stay alert — as cute as he is, a banana is not what will lure him in.

Dungeon mechanics

Good news! As an exception in this dungeon, if you are defeated you will not lose any energy, and you will automatically be teleported back in front of Moon without having to redo the tedious journey!

Careful! For the entire duration of the fight, if a player takes pushback damage, they will be killed. So you need to watch your positioning carefully, because Moon has the Release spell, which pushes back 4 cells.

He summons Darkli Moon, and he will hit you with his hammer at an unmodifiable range, up to three times per turn, limited to one attack per target.

Darkli Moon is a real parasite that will make your life difficult while taking Moon down: he can use a transposition spell with Moon. He will not deal you any damage, but he will constantly come into melee with you, and summons up to 4 different totems that each generate a glyph:

Your team needs to be able to hit in several elements so the fight doesn't drag on from hitting into overly high resistances — end the fight quickly to maximize your chances of not taking a critical hit. Moon has low AP/MP dodge, which you can exploit to immobilize him, and you can avoid getting hit thanks to the obstacles all around the map. I recommend ignoring his summon, or having one person keep it busy; focusing Moon is the best option.

Once he is defeated, talk to him to obtain the Moon Hammer spell and return to the beach.
